How accurate are voter rolls in the 13 Ohio House Government Oversight Committee Districts?

Highlights of Voter Roll Data 5/20/2023 Analysis of 13 Ohio House Government Oversight Committee Districts:

. 110,753 minimum out of 886,542 (11%) voter registration records are in need of evaluation, correction, and cancellation as necessary. Over 50% of these voter records are in 4 of the 13 Districts:

. 22,283 (30%) are in District 5 (Brown)

. 17,240 (20%) are in District 24 (Isaacsohn)

. 10,910 (14%) are in District 33 (Galonski)

. 10,119 (12%) are in District 21 (Forhan)

. By contrast 2,949 (4%) are in District 48 (Oelslager)

. 72,497 (almost 7%) registered voters did not vote or have a Registration Date update in over 6 years. In general, federal and state law require registered voters who do not return a notice and do not vote in 4-6 years be removed from the voter rolls.

. 27,682 Registration Date integrity issues include registering on a federal holiday before online voter registration was available, registering before age 17, Registration Date of Jan 1 1900, backdated Registration Date, change in Date of Birth, registered voters ages 105-123, Birth Date of Jan 1 1800, voting before Date of Birth, and voter registration records matching death records.

. 16,936 registered voters in District 5 (Brown) and 863 registered voters in District 89 (Swearingen) have a Registration Date on a federal holiday before online voter registration was available; Boards of Elections were closed and USPS mail was not delivered on this Registration Date.

. 5,431 registered voters in District 21 (Forhan) and 3,110 registered voters in District 13 (Skindell), have a Registration Date of Jan 1 1900; most vote regularly.

. 9,421 Address integrity issues on voter registrations including: addresses that do not meet Secretary of State Official Election Manual standards, address swapping, registered at The UPS Store or commercial address (which is against Ohio law).

. 678 registered voters with Name integrity issues including: names that do not meet Secretary of State Official Election Manual standards.

. 475 potential duplicate voter registrations.
